My Axtel "Story Teller", named Uncle Ott and dressed in a gold leisure suit is such a hit. I do a Jewish accent and the ladies love him at the assisted living. Of course it's because he's always asking them to be his girlfriend!

I work with a cheeky boy hard figure named Corky. But my biggest reaction was with my old man puppet. Also a rock star figure I designed myself, received great laughs.

Cheeky Boy is my favorite. Jay(Selberg"Max") Is my favorite. I prefer boys then older men. Eddie(J.A.R) Is a middle-aged man w/ a mustach and I like to use him as well.

I work with a young boy (Nicolo/Poyner)and an old man (Lolo Oban/Carcamo)...their difference in character and perhaps age make them easy to go back to back in one show :) I also work with animal figures (Axtel) and they get a wild reaction from kids. Who gets the best response will depend on the type of audience and event.

I mainly perform for senior citizen audiences, and they really seem to relate to my old man figure. The little boy figure I used to work with just doesnt get the same responce.

Been using little boy for nearly 30 years and it gets great results. Kids and adults alike relate to him. Used him for so long if I try to use another figure the kids rebel.

I bought my cat figure FUZZBALL at the 1980 Vent Haven conVENTion. I bought him because my wife (girlfriend at the time) loved cats. For years I never could come up with a routine. Then, when I started performing at churches a routine just came to me. Since then I have altered and improved the routine and people always love (especially kids) FUZZBALL and always ask about him. So make sure and tell us a story about your figure.
